Panama, the Digital Hub  

With the support of the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), the capital of the country has become the Digital Hub of the region during the “Pandemonio”, which is a conference event on the latest technologies and trends that are changing today’s business. This is a meeting where all the possible information is provided in order to present technology to businesses, highlighting how digital today is the new modality. The fact is that technology does not represent a cost for the business but it is the business itself. 

Around 30 keynote speakers from Europe, North America and Latin America will speak in front of 500 Senior Executives of the country and worldwide. During the event, the focus was addressed on how companies apply robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, data science, cloud services and the industrial internet in daily activities. According to the organizers of the event, “We are in an era where it is essential that companies and people are aware of all the innovation and what is going on in this field.” 

Panama was chosen as the headquarters of this innovative event for being considered “an Entrance door to Latin America and a thriving place of business innovation”, according to the organizers. In addition to the wide variety of tourist attractions, history, culture, nature, gastronomy and the emblematic Panama Canal. Also, the country has a world-class infrastructure that provides quality and cutting-edge services, which meet the expectation of such a demanding market.  

Pandemonio was produced by the experts Alistier Croll and Bryan Bogensberger. Both are professionals with over 50 years of experience in business creation and conferencing. Alistier and Bryan are specialists in the development of new businesses and the delivery of valuable technological information for top executives and entrepreneurs. In parallel, renowned speakers such as David Boyle (BBC Worldwide), Jon Gosier (Audigent), Renee Diresta (Haven), Carme Artigas (Synergic Partners) and from Panama, Min Chen (REDOXIGEN, Inc.) and Lider Sucre, Regional Director of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, which participated in the event. That is how the ATP believes that this kind of event supports the digital hub strategy in Panama, and exposes the country as a Tourist destination.
